Roasted Sweet Potato Rounds

Set oven to 400 emojiPlace whole potato in over or microwave it so that it is easier to cut. Once potato is at a good cutting firmness cut potato into rounds. emojiSpray a baking sheet with olive oil and place potatoes on sheet. emojiSpray potatoes again with a little bit of olive oil and add pepper and onion powder. emoji Place in oven for 12 min then flip and cook another 12. emojiIf they are not browned enough to your liking broil them for about 5 minutes! emoji

New recipe: Pumpkinoodle egg white oats!!

Pumpkin + snicker doodle= Pumpkinoodle!! 

Recipe:

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup water

1/2 TBSP chia seeds

Vanilla extract

Caramel extract

Cinnamon

3 TBSP Pumpkin

Directions: 

Cook the oats, almond milk, water, chia seeds, extract, and cinnamon for 2 minutes then add the egg whites and microwave for another 2 minutes. Take out and add the pumpkin and microwave for 30 seconds. Top with whatever toppings you desire. I use fruit, banana, and pb2!! Such a great combo!! 

 

Recipe: PB&J egg white oats

Directions:

In a bowl microwave for 5 min but half way through take out a stir (watch out for overflowing):

1/2 cups of oats

1 tsp chia seeds

vanilla extract

butter extract

2/3 cup of water

1/3 cup of almond milk

Then add:

2 egg whites

Microwave for 2 minutes but take out at 1 min and stir

Then make the the PB by mixing 1 TBSP of PB2 with water till to the correct consistency. Make then jelly but microwaving frozen raspberries then mashing them up into a jelly. Then top your oats with the toppings and enjoy!! I also added a little cinnamon to my oats because I love cinnamon!

New Overnight Oats recipe!!

Hello loves! 

I have started my summer job as a camp counselor at my local rec center! I am working with my best friend and my twin brother so I am very excited! The camp starts at 8am and goest ill 5:30pm! That means I have to have my food prepared and ready to go. In the mornings I have been making a new overnight oats recipe! I LOVE my oats thick and this recipe was perfect! The oats were nice a thick and gooey =]

RECIPE (adapted from Kristen):

Put all ingredients in a bowl:

1/3 cup of oats

1/2 cup plain Fage 0% greek yogurt

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 

1/2 TBSP chia seeds

Vanilla extract

Cinnamon

Put in the refrigerator overnight then in the morning top with whatever your little heart desires!

PB&J Egg white oats

RECIPE:

**I used the microwvae but you could easily make these on the stove top also!

In a bowl add:

1/2 cup oats

1 cup of liquid (I mix water and unsweetened vanilla almond milk)

1tsp chia seeds

Vanilla extract

sweetener if desired

-Microwave for 4 min (watch it to make sure it does not over flow)

Add:

6Tbsp of egg whites

1/4 tsp baking powder

-Microwave for 2 minutes

Then, take some frozen berries ( I used strawberries and raspberries) and microwave till hot. Pour over oats (Use the juice too). Add cinnamon!

Then top with Peanut Butter (or PB2) and enjoy!!
