Putting my life in perspective

I am so close to being done with my first year of college! This has been the hardest year of my life by far. College was so hard for me mentally and emotionally. I had a very hard time. Unfortunately I think I chose the wrong place for me. I am ready to move on and hopefully find a place where I fit in. Anyways I love coming home…it is about a 4 hour drive over a mountain pass so it is not the easiest thing to do, but so worth it!

Things I love about coming home:

I live in a beautiful place:

My kitties: Gerty and Mimi (not pictured)

Home cooked meals: I love omelets. I love roasted veggies and roasted chicken. I can not make any of this at college. I am always cooking when I am home =]

Not pictured: My parents, the local gym,my bed, my own shower, and of course my kItchen!

After all that has happened this week in our country I am so thankful for the life I have. It may not be easy, but I need to put my life in perspective with others. I am lucky to even have the opportunities I have so I am going to try to make the best of them and be more positive. This year I have fallen into a slump of negativity and I need to let that go. Nothing positive will come from it.

I hope you all have an amazing weekend! Enjoy the life you have! If any of you have been affected by this weeks events I am sending love, hope, and prayers.

My sunday Morning at a glance

I woke up around 7 like I do every morning. I watched one of my favorite shows Say Yes to the dress on TLC! And ate this amazingness….

Then I was looking for a full body workout to do because on sundays I usually do a full body workout and I wanted to change it up. So I found some inspiration and make my own…..this is kinda what I did. I switched things up a little as I went.

I then did 25 minutes on the bike while I was exploring Instagram to help pass time! The results of todays workout…

How was your Sunday morning?

My amazing Easter Sunday run

Sunday was the first real spring day in Boulder, Co. I had just drove down from home and had the urge to run. I love it when this happens! Right when I got there I change and put on my nike frees and off I went. I knew what way I was going to head but I was not sure how long I was going to go or any detours I was going to take. It is weird….It is always hard for me keep going till I reach a certain point then I just feel like I could run forever. I passes families in the park doing easter egg hunts which made me smile. I just enjoyed myself the whole time. When i was done I felt fabulous. A runners high you would say it was. I love that feeling. Not every run is like this ,but when they do happen they are unexpected and cherished.

This the result of my run:
